Throughout the deck, traditional tarot themes are reimagined through phones, apps, work, relationships, social media, burnout, online communication and the tiny everyday disasters that somehow become the defining moments of our lives.

But beneath the humour is a proper, readable tarot deck.

The traditional 78-card structure remains familiar, while the contemporary scenes give the symbolism an immediate new language. Instead of having to translate an ancient scene into your own life, you may find your life staring straight back at you from the card.

That makes Everyday Apocalypse particularly good for readings about relationships, communication, work, boundaries, decisions, burnout, changing circumstances and the general business of being a human being in the twenty-first century.
