Twisted Tarot takes the familiar structure of traditional tarot and recasts all 78 cards as scenes from horror films that never existed.

Every card takes the traditional idea at the heart of its tarot counterpart and asks what that archetype might become inside a horror story.

Across the deck you'll encounter haunted houses, cults and cursed objects, slashers, spirits, monsters, doomed lovers and things waiting in the woods. Different branches of horror weave through the cards, but the tarot remains underneath, giving each scene meaning beyond the image itself.

And Twisted has another unusual feature.

🎬 TAROT IN WIDESCREEN

All 78 cards are designed in a sideways landscape format, deliberately composed to resemble cinematic widescreen stills.

Rather than simply placing horror imagery onto conventional tarot cards, the wider format allows each card to become a complete scene: the figure at the end of the corridor, the burning house, the lonely road, the moonlit lake, the moment in the film when you know somebody really shouldn't open that door.

The result feels less like flicking through a deck and more like discovering 78 frames from a lost horror anthology.

But Twisted isn't simply dark for the sake of being dark.

The original tarot themes still matter. The Star remains a Beacon of Hope. Strength becomes Beauty and the Beast. The Four of Pentacles becomes The Hoarder's Curse. Some cards are beautiful, some unsettling, some sinister and some surprisingly hopeful.
